BEFORE & AFTER SCHOOL INFORMATION
The YMCA Before and After School Age Care program provides quality, affordable care for children in grades K–6 that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development. Operating from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, the program offers a safe and supportive environment for children during before and after school hours, including early release days, so parents can work a full day with confidence.
Each day features a mix of homework support, structured physical activity, and creative, hands-on projects that encourage learning and growth. Children build friendships, practice teamwork, and develop positive character values in a fun, inclusive setting.
Our caring, trained staff create a welcoming space where kids can thrive, with a focus on healthy living, academic enrichment, and social responsibility. The YMCA partners with families and schools to ensure a seamless experience that meets the needs of both children and parents.
2024-2025 Updates
- Care begins WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 21ST
- At this time, all ZCS families should plan for students to attend Before and After School at JOHN MCINTIRE ELEMENTARY. Should busing be secured, families will be notified and care will move to the Muskingum County Family YMCA.
- STUDENTS AT ZANE GREY and NATIONAL ROAD must contact the ZCS Transportation Department to arrange for busing.

Non-Members: $60/Week
After School Care
Members: $60/Week
Non-Members: $70/Week
Before and After School Care
Members: $90/Week
