About the Project-
Western Licking County has limited access to indoor recreation space leaving many residents without year-round opportunities to stay active and connected. With your support, we will build an 8,200-square-foot indoor sports facility within our West Licking YMCA Branch and expand adult wellness space by 40% (approximately 3,000-square-feet) in order to meet this growing demand and create more opportunities for health, well-being, and meaningful connection.

Campaign Goal-
Our goal is to raise $4 million to expand what’s possible for our community.
$3 million will bring a new 8,200-square-foot indoor sports complex to life
$1 million will expand our health and wellness program spaces by 40%
So far, we’ve raised $2.4 million. Your support will help us cross the finish line and engage 1,500+ youth in sports, serve 1,000+ additional families, and support more than 1,100 adults in their health and wellness goals.
A Campus Full of Possibilities-
Our YMCA sits on more than 17 acres. It is a space full of possibilities and the new gymnasium is just the beginning of our vision for this site. The image above offers a glimpse of what the future could look like: a fully realized masterplan that brings every corner of our property to life.
Get Involved-

What We Offer
Traditional Day Camp
There is no place like Day Camp – A home away from home where kids laugh, learn, explore and grow in the outdoors, while creating memories and friendships that last a lifetime. Kids discover not just the wonders of day camp but the joy of exploring their unique traits, talents and interests and the power of sharing their strengths and skills to benefit the group.
Specialty Camps
Is your child a Pokémon trainer, roller-skating legend, or Ninja Warrior or are they excited to develop their dance, gymnastics, or basketball skills? YMCA Specialty Camps and Clinics offer unique experiences that cater to kids' favorite hobbies and inspire them to explore new interests. Our specialty camps and clinics focus on introducing fresh activities and strengthening skills campers already have. Campers will also enjoy traditional camp fun the rest of the day, including arts and crafts, swimming, games, and more! Specialty camps and clinics are available for an additional fee, with limited spots, so be sure to reserve early!
Leaders-In-Training
Join our exciting teen program at day camp, where fun meets growth! Our Leader in Training (LIT) program empowers teens with the chance to assist camp counselors in leading activities, while developing leadership qualities, teamwork, and independence. Teens engage in hands-on tasks that promote problem-solving and responsibility, preparing them to become future counselors. Along the way, they gain valuable volunteering experience and make lasting memories. With plenty of outdoor adventures, pool time, field trips, teen nights, and the camaraderie of new friends, this program keeps teens active and engaged all summer long!
