Volunteers are key to the success of the YMCA. Our staff depends on the talent and the extra hands that make everything we do a little extra special.
Helping Today Preserve Tomorrow
Endowment income is the key to a bright tomorrow. YMCA Heritage Club members make a planned gift or a one time gift to the YMCA's Endowment Fund. Earnings from gifts to this fund benefit current programming, while the principal supports future needs. These funds are managed by experienced community leaders.
To become a member of the Heritage Club, you can:
- Include the YMCA Endowment Fund in your will.
- Give an outright gift of: cash, securities, real estate or insurance policies.
- Make a gift in memory of someone.
- Plan a life income gift such as a: gift annuity, pooled income fund agreement, charitable remainder unitrusts or revocable charitable trust.
- Name the YMCA Endowment Fund as beneficiary or owner of an insurance policy.
We are pleased to recognize planned gift donors with lifelong membership in the YMCA Heritage Club at the Buckeye Valley Family YMCA. Aptly named, this distinguished honor celebrates the legacy of giving that you have created.
Leaving a Lasting Legacy
Including the Buckeye Valley Family YMCA in your estate plan is a simple, yet powerful way to invest in the Y’s future. When you make a planned gift—no matter the size—you help strengthen the Y experience for future generations of your neighbors.
You can enhance YMCA priorities that have personal meaning to you, such as scholarships/financial assistance, support specific programs, or capital initiatives. You may also choose to make an unrestricted gift that enables the Y to best address future needs. Whatever your commitment, you’ll join a special tradition of giving and be welcomed into the YMCA Heritage Club.
Did you already make a gift?
Please tell us about it! We can celebrate it publicly or keep it quiet if you want to stay anonymous. Either way, knowing about your plans will help us better prepare for a strong future. Follow the link to our Heritage Club Membership Form, fill it out and our team will get back with you.
You may also e-mail us at adam.shilling@bvfymca.org and include "Heritage Club Membership" in the subject line. Please provide your name, address, telephone number, and your comments / questions and someone will contact you about your interest in the Heritage Club.
