What We Offer
Traditional Day Camp
There is no place like Day Camp – A home away from home where kids laugh, learn, explore and grow in the outdoors, while creating memories and friendships that last a lifetime. Kids discover not just the wonders of day camp but the joy of exploring their unique traits, talents and interests and the power of sharing their strengths and skills to benefit the group.
Specialty Camps
Is your child a sports enthusiast, a budding chef, or an avid fisherman? If your child has a specific interest or hobby or is interested in exploring something new, we may just have a specialty camp for them! YMCA specialty camps focus on introducing new or different hobbies, and nurturing the skills campers may already have. The rest of the day will be spent enjoying traditional camp activities like arts and crafts, swimming, games and more. Specialty camps are an additional fee that caries by camp. Space is limited.
Leaders-In-Training
The YMCA offers exciting opportunities for teens, ages 13—15, to experience summer fun and develop leadership skills through LIT summer programs. LITs have an opportunity to begin friendships for the summer while getting the training they need to be successful as volunteers helping our day camp. LIT campers work as a group to explore and enhance their leadership skills, self-confidence, self-esteem while learning the importance of responsibility. LITs participate in team building activities, receive American Red Cross certification in First Aid and CPR.
