The West Licking County Family YMCA was the grateful recipient of an act of community goodwill on October 1st. The team at Quality Yard and Home Maintenance selected the Y as their partner for their company’s “Community Day.”

Jeremy Nestor, owner of Quality Yard and Home Maintenance, started his company in 2010. Serving his customers and his community has always been a hallmark of his work. Born and raised in Pataskala and a graduate of Watkins Memorial, Jeremy knows the community well.

Nestor and his team spent that day transforming the bare West Licking Y exterior. The group spent the day planting a variety of trees, shrubs and other landscaping, as well as spreading river rock around the perimeter of the building’s entrance.

“I knew there was a need here and that we could make an impact complementing the construction that has gone on,” said Nestor. The West Licking County Family YMCA recently completed a $3 million renovation of their facility at 355 W. Broad Street.

“The landscaping that the Quality Yard and Home Maintenance team provided today is really the perfect finishing touch to our facility,” said Dana Moore, West Licking Y Executive Director. “The professional landscaping on our exterior provides a welcoming environment to our members and the community before you even step through our doors!”

Other Community Day landscaping projects completed by Nestor and Quality Yard and Home Maintenance include several local churches as well as the Pataskala Police Department.
